CTD's MCP server makes your entire network — paths, relationship scores, company data, job changes, ghost emails — available to Claude and any other MCP-compatible AI tool. RevOps teams use this to build AI workflows that combine relationship intelligence with the rest of their tech stack.

What you can do

Once CTD is connected via MCP, you can ask natural language questions and trigger actions directly from your AI client:

  • "Find all open opportunities where we have a strong path to the CTO but no intro has been requested."
  • "Who in our org has the best connection to Acme Corp? Draft a ghost email asking them to make an intro."
  • "Show me all contacts at our top 20 accounts who changed jobs in the last 30 days."
  • "Which deals in Q3 had warm paths that were never activated?"

Connecting CTD to Claude

CTD is available as a native MCP server for Claude Desktop and Claude Code. Once set up, Claude has full access to your CTD network data and can take actions — finding paths, drafting ghost emails, updating path stages — entirely from the chat interface. See Setting up the CTD MCP server for step-by-step instructions.

Building custom skills

The real power of MCP for RevOps is combining CTD data with other tools in your tech stack. Because MCP is a standard protocol, you can build custom AI workflows that pull from CTD alongside Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack, LinkedIn, or any other connected tool.

Example workflow: when a new opportunity is created in Salesforce → Claude checks CTD for warm paths → pulls the rep's recent Slack messages with the account → drafts a ghost email to the strongest connector with context from both sources.

For a full list of what CTD exposes via MCP, see What you can do with CTD + AI. For example prompts, see Example prompts and workflows.

Company research skill

The fastest way to prep for any account conversation is the company research skill — a single slash command that returns a full brief on any target company. Run /company-research [company] in Claude and you get firmographics, recent signals, your team's warm paths (with execs surfaced first), former employees now reachable through your network, and investor data. No manual research, no tab switching.

How RevOps teams use it: Wire a CRM trigger to fire when a new opportunity is created, then run /company-research on the account automatically. The AE gets a full brief before their first call without doing any research themselves.
