This guide is for the Microsoft 365 Administrator setting up Connect The Dots for your organization. The process uses a CTD-hosted authorization page that handles all the Microsoft permission granting — no Azure AD configuration required.
Who does this: Your Microsoft 365 Global Administrator or Exchange Administrator. The whole process takes under two minutes.
Steps
- Visit the authorization URL for your chosen access scope (see table below)
- Enter your Administrator email address
- Click Authorize
- A Microsoft authentication dialog will open — click Accept to grant the requested permissions
- You're done — let your CTD Account Executive know and they'll verify the connection
Authorization URLs by access scope
Use the URL that matches the access scope you agreed on with your Account Executive:
| Scope | Authorization URL |
|---|---|
| Metadata only | app.ctd.ai/enterprise-authorization-metadata |
| Metadata + Send | app.ctd.ai/enterprise-authorization-metadata-send |
| Read-only | app.ctd.ai/enterprise-authorization-readonly |
| Read-only + Send | app.ctd.ai/enterprise-authorization-readonly-send |
Revoking access
To revoke CTD's access, go to myapps.microsoft.com, find the CTD application, and remove it. Or go to Azure Active Directory → Enterprise applications, find Connect The Dots, and delete it. CTD immediately loses all access to your organization's mailboxes.
