Static company lists and static people lists can be viewed three different ways. You switch between them using the view tabs at the top of the list. Each view is designed for a different moment in your workflow — reviewing who's on the list, managing outreach progress, or finding the best way in.
List view
List view is the default — a clean, scannable table of everything on your list. Each row shows:
- The company or person name, with a link to their CTD profile
- Current role and company (for people lists)
- Relationship signal strength — how warm your team's connections are
- Number of warm paths available
- Any notes your team has added
List view is best for a quick audit of what's on the list, sorting by relationship strength, or exporting data for review.
Board view (paid plans)
Board view is a Kanban-style layout with customizable columns. Each company or person appears as a card, and you drag cards between columns to track their status.
Customizing columns
You create columns to match your workflow. Common setups include:
- Sales pipeline: Prospecting → Intro requested → Meeting scheduled → Proposal sent → Closed
- Event attendance: Invited → Accepted → Attending → Declined → Follow up
- Recruiting pipeline: Sourced → Contacted → Screening → Interviewing → Offer
- Relationship stages: Cold → Warm → Active → Partner
Columns are shared across all collaborators on the list — when one teammate moves a card, everyone sees the update.
Board view for event management
Board view is particularly well suited for event management. A partnerships team hosting an industry conference can create a people list of all invitees, switch to Board view, and set up columns for "Invited," "Accepted," "Attending," "Declined," and "Follow up." As responses come in, the team drags contacts between columns. Everyone on the event team sees the live state without chasing a spreadsheet.
Paths view (paid plans)
Paths view is CTD's relationship intelligence layer. It shows every warm intro path your team has into the people on your list — or the people at companies on your list. This is where the network intelligence makes the list actionable.
How it works
For each entry on the list, Paths view displays:
- The available warm intro paths, ranked by connection strength and recency
- Who on your team is the connector (the person with the relationship)
- The strength of each step in the path (strong, medium, weak)
You can request an intro or send a ghost email directly from Paths view — no need to navigate away to find the connector and ask separately.
Persona filters in Paths view
On company lists, Paths view shows paths to people at each company. By default it shows all contacts, but you can narrow the view with persona filters:
- Seniority — e.g., "only show C-suite and VP-level contacts"
- Function — e.g., "only show people in Engineering or Product"
- Title keywords — filter to a specific role type
This lets you focus on the contacts who matter for your specific outreach goal without wading through every person CTD knows at each company.
Paths view across the team
When a list is shared with teammates, Paths view aggregates warm paths from everyone on the team — not just the list owner. A list shared with a 10-person sales team surfaces the collective relationship intelligence of all 10 people, making it far more likely you'll find a warm path into every account.
