Five things to do when you first sign up — in roughly this order.

1. Sync your accounts

The more signal you connect, the more accurate your relationship scores and warm paths will be. Head to app.ctd.ai/accounts and connect your email accounts. You can also upload your LinkedIn connections and messages — see Uploading LinkedIn data for instructions.

2. Invite people you know

CTD works best when the people you want to reach through also have accounts. Invite colleagues, former coworkers, or anyone in your network whose connections would be useful to you at app.ctd.ai/invites. When they connect their accounts, your combined network expands — and so do your warm paths.

3. Search for people and companies

Go to app.ctd.ai/search/all and search for any person or company you want to reach. CTD will show you every warm path available — who in your network knows them, how strong the relationship is, and who the best connector is. From there, you can request an intro directly.

4. Turn on job change alerts

CTD sends a weekly email digest whenever someone in your network changes roles — a warm signal that's often worth acting on. This should arrive automatically once you've synced your accounts. If you're not receiving it, reach out to support. You can also browse all recent job changes in your network at app.ctd.ai/dashboard/my-updates/job_updates.

5. Explore lists

Lists let you track groups of companies or people and see your relationship strength across all of them at once — useful for keeping tabs on a target account list, a set of investors, or any group you want to monitor. Try it at company lists or people lists.
