CTD is free forever for individuals. There's no catch, no trial period, and no credit card required. Here's why — and what you get.

Why free?

CTD's network intelligence gets better as more people connect their accounts. Every individual user who joins adds to the collective graph that benefits everyone. Individuals get a powerful tool at no cost.

What you get as an individual

  • Your network score — a measure of the size, recency, and depth of your professional network based on your email history
  • Warm path search — find who in your network can introduce you to any person or company
  • Contact intelligence — see contact details, job history, and relationship context for everyone in your network
  • Ghost email — draft intro request emails that your connectors can forward with one click
  • Job change alerts — get notified when key contacts change roles

What's different in paid tiers

Paid editions (Team and Business) go significantly further. The main differences:

Collective network. As an individual, you search through your own connections. With a team plan, every warm path across your entire organization's combined network becomes available — dramatically more coverage, especially for accounts no single rep has touched.

Predicted relationships from public data. This is the biggest one. CTD doesn't just map connections that exist in your email or LinkedIn — it infers relationships you'd never find manually. For example: your customer champion isn't a CTD user, so there's no direct email data. But CTD can see that your champion previously worked at the same company as your target, at the same time, both as VPs in the same function. CTD predicts they know each other — and surfaces that as a warm path. This inference layer runs across publicly available data and is calculated for paid editions only.

Advanced functionality. Team features, CRM sync, board and paths views, advanced filters, and admin controls are all paid-only.

API and MCP access. Unlimited access to the collective network via the CTD API and MCP — for building relationship intelligence into internal tools, CRM workflows, and AI agents.

If you're at a company that uses CTD Business or Team edition, your admin will invite you. Your data remains yours — you can see what you share with the team and control your own privacy settings.

Wondering what you're sharing? You decide what's visible and to whom. CTD never reads email content — only metadata like who you've exchanged messages with and how recently. You can review exactly what's shared and adjust it at any time. See Data visibility and privacy controls for the full picture.
