Your data belongs to you. Here's how long CTD retains different types of data, and how to export or delete everything.
While your account is active
CTD retains your relationship data — contact profiles, email metadata, and relationship scores — for as long as your account is active. This data is what powers your network intelligence and warm path search.
Disconnecting integrations
You can disconnect any integration (Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn) at any time from Settings → Integrations. You can also revoke access directly from your Google or Microsoft account settings — CTD access is removed immediately without any further action needed inside the CTD app.
When you disconnect an integration, CTD stops refreshing data from that source. Existing contact data derived from that integration remains in your account unless you delete it.
Exporting your data
You can export all your CTD data at any time from Settings → Data export. The export includes:
- All contacts and their details
- Your relationship scores and network graph
- Your lists and saved searches
Exports are delivered as a downloadable file in a portable format.
Deleting your account
When you delete your account:
- All personal data is permanently deleted — contacts, relationship scores, email metadata, and integration-synced data
- Deletion is irreversible — we do not retain your data after deletion
- Backups containing your data are purged on our standard backup rotation cycle
To delete your account, go to Settings → Account → Delete account, or contact security@ctd.ai.
Data retention for deleted accounts (enterprise)
For Business Edition accounts, admins can configure data retention policies for departing employees — for example, retaining a former employee's relationship data for a defined period before deletion. Contact our team for custom retention configuration.
